Exact, not complicated
Calculations use exact numbers, every figure can be followed back to its transaction, and recording an expense takes seconds.
About
Ricordax is for anyone who wants the books of their home and their work kept right and kept simple, in whatever currency they live in.
The name
The name Ricordax comes from ricordanze: the family ledgers of fifteenth-century Florentine merchants, who wrote the business's accounts beside the family's events in a single volume.
Luca Pacioli, who set double-entry bookkeeping down in writing in 1494, described this book as a book for keeping what must not be forgotten.
That is what we want: a ledger that keeps home and work side by side yet apart, and can add up anything of value, from toman to gold to bitcoin, in one language.
What we hold ourselves to
Calculations use exact numbers, every figure can be followed back to its transaction, and recording an expense takes seconds.
Two apps, one sign-in, each with its own subscription, ledger and access; one's data never mixes with the other's.
You can always take a full copy and delete your account. When a subscription ends, nothing is deleted either.
