Answers to common questions
If yours isn't here, ask on the contact page.
In general
What exactly is Ricordax?
Two apps with one account: a ledger for your household and family, and a ledger for your business's invoices and receivables. Both are multi-currency and save each transaction at that day's rate.
Who is it built for?
People whose money is in more than one unit: toman and dollars and euros, gold and coins, crypto; in Iran and around the world. The interface is in Persian and English.
Which calendar does it use?
Jalali or Gregorian, your choice, and you can start the fiscal month on any day. Each member sets their own interface language, time zone and digit style (Persian or Latin).
Pricing and payment
How long is it free?
Every new ledger has a free trial and we don't ask for a card to start it. Its length is on the pricing page.
What happens to my data if my subscription ends?
Nothing is deleted. Your ledger goes read-only: you can see and download it, but recording and editing are locked. Renew and everything opens again immediately.
Is the price per person?
No, it's per ledger. Each plan lists how many members it allows on the pricing page, and members pay nothing; the ledger's owner pays.
How do I pay?
The payment methods that are switched on (for example card transfer, a bank gateway or crypto) are shown at checkout. Your card details never reach our servers.
Security and data
Can I take my data and leave?
Yes. Download a full copy of your ledger whenever you like, and delete your account whenever you like.
Can site staff see my transactions?
No. They see only general account information such as the number of members and the subscription status; your individual financial transactions are not visible to them.
Does it connect to my bank account?
No. Every figure you see in the app is one you recorded yourself.
Personal & family app
How many people can work in one ledger?
It depends on the plan: Standard is single-user and Plus and Pro have several members. You add members with an invite link and set each one's role and access.
How do I record gold and coins?
As assets, in their own quantity (say 2.5 coins or 80 grams of gold). Their value is worked out at the day's rate, and whenever the quantity changes the change stays in the activity log.
Does it work offline?
Recording a transaction does: it waits in a queue and syncs when you're back online. Viewing reports needs a connection.
Business app
Can I run more than one business?
Yes; each business is its own ledger and all of them are reachable from one sign-in. Your plan sets how many.
Can my accountant sign in too?
Yes; you add them with an invite link and decide their access. An accountant pays nothing for your books.
Does it connect to the Moadian tax system?
On the plans that include it, yes: invoices are queued for the Iranian tax authority's Moadian system, and if the system is unavailable, issuing an invoice is never held up.
